Student council is a union and associated student body and it is a curricular or extracurricular activity for students within elementary and college around the world. These councils are present in mostly college systems across the University. Student councils often serve to engage students in learning about democracy and leadership. Students' Council is an elected body that advocates on behalf of students, serves as representatives to the college and its appoints students to all major committees at the College, and distributes the activities. The student council helps share students’ ideas, interests concerns with teachers and college Principals. They often also help raise funds for college-wide activities, including social events, community projects, helping people in need and college reform. Many members learn skills that were an extension of their formal education. Student councils operate in many forms. There are representative-based on the General secretary and Secretary. In this form student representatives are usually elected from and by the student body. In elementary college, there are typically one student representatives per class and one representative from the co-curricular activities.
