The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program will provide students the knowledge and skills required to develop and apply computer systems to practical, real-world problems.
In addition to required core courses, students can choose from a large selection of electives to focus on such diverse topics as multi-threaded programming on bare-metal, custom real-time operating systems, and embedded Linux systems; implementation of IP stacks for computer networking; network and wireless protocol development for Internet of Things devices; design of real-time operating systems;
They will also apply the knowledge and skills gained in the classroom in real-world settings through internships or co-ops and course projects, including the capstone project.
This course shall be a full time course. The duration of course will be six semesters spread over three years.
With the collaboration of two IT & CS we have organized “GMV TechFest 2K16”. The festival of three days was full of events. Department organizes this festival every year for development of technical skills among pupils. Wieners of various competition held under festival were facilitated with trophies, medals and certificate. A boy(Kiran Dalvi) and girl(Rajashree Jumare) were honored with Mr.TechFest and Miss.TechFest. This festival was organized between 24th February & 27th February 2016. Department organized Industrial Visit to Hyderabad between 24th January & 27th January 2016. Many places were visited in this IV. Most important is visit to Remote Sensing Institute along with Ramoji Film City. Yearly Industrial Visit contributes in overall development of students. All students of third year were participated in Industrial Visit. We have organized two days National level workshop on Android App Development in collaboration with AMALGAM IIT Madras & ARK Technology on 1st and 2nd March 2016. We have organized “Digital India” workshop on 14th August 2016 as per direction of Govt. of India. With collaboration of Swadesh & Fuel Foundation we have organized Career & Personality training program for three days between 5th January & 7th January 2016. The “Secure Digital Life” seminar was organize on 22nd December 2016. For this seminar we got speaker Mr. Abhijeet More (Ethical Hacker).
